A Deep discount bond Viz. Ashirwad deep discount bond of ICICI was purchased in the year 1996 in my daughter's name (dated 15th July 96)for Rs. 5200 with maturity value of RS. 2 lakhs to be redeemed in 2021. The details are given here under: Name of Bond Holder: Madhurhi SasidharU/G Srilatha Sasidhar Bond Holder No: 1116829 Certificate NO.111427 To my surprise, when I contacted ICICI recently, I was told that the scheme had been wound up long back & I need to approach IEPF to get a meagre amount from them... Two Deep discount bond Viz. Ashirwad deep discount bond of ICICI was purchased in the year 1996 in my name (dated 15th July 96)for Rs. 5200 with maturity value of RS. 2 lakhs to be redeemed in July 2021. The details are given here under:

Name of Bond Holder: Sameer Srivastava
Bond Holder No: 1153-039 and
Certificate NO.143712 and 134711

To my surprise, when I contacted ICICI recently, I was told that the scheme had been wound up long back & I need to approach IEPF to get a meagre amount from them they reuse to pay. Ultimately I had to file Case against them in a Consumer Court.

Can you please share the steps to redeem the Ashirwad Deep Discount Bond (Option I)? Are there any issues? ICICI told me to approach or redeem it through IEPF but I am unable to understand this process.

Yes I have done a case on them nd court has accepted the same

I am not getting any help Or clear guidance from bank authorities about redemption of these bands.
