[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Salary Account Frozen without notification

Hi,

I'm having a salary account with ICICI bank. Last week suddenly, I was not able to do any transactions in my account. When I called the customer care number, they informed me that my account was frozen and I need to visit the nearest branch to get it resolved. So I visited the ICICI Dindigul (Tamilnadu) branch. There they informed me that on notice from the income tax department, my salary account was frozen. Since I'm a salaried person, my company is deducting all my taxes from my salary and it is getting paid regularly. I also filed the ITR till last financial year. When I checked income tax portal there is no tax dues on my PAN number and also there is no tax demands. I also enquired in the income tax office as well. They also confirmed me that there is no pending dues on my PAN. I informed the same to the representatives at the branch as well. I'm asking the branch to provide me the notice/court order based on which my account was frozen, but they are not able to give me till date. It's been a week now and still I'm not sure why my account was freezed. Can you please help me in getting the court order/notice from the IT department
