[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — smab charges debit without intimation

Undersigned is having bank account in icici vasna road, vadodara main branch from last almost 10 years (Account no.[protected]

My account is being debited for following charges in the name of smab charges:

I. E a total of rs. 4796.37 till date were charged to my account

In the event of non-maintenance of minimum mab, the bank will notify the customer by sms/e-mail/ letter etc. That in the event of the minimum balance not being restored in the account in the subsequent month, non-maintenance of mab charges will be applicable".

I don't have any mail/sms/letter informing about this mab charges.

Also as per the banking ombudsman scheme 2006. Rules says"levying of charges without adequate prior notice to the customer" is a voilation of rule 8 (1) (K).

Hence your good office is kindly requested to look into the matter and arrange to refund the deducted amount in my account and oblige.
