[Resolved] ICICI Bank — trying to activate inactive accounts for 7 days | |
I got an e-mail from icici bank that my accounts are active and i need to inactivate them, i tried to reply to that email and it says delivery failed, email id is [protected]@icicibank.com. Reached to out online chat where someone dumb pasted the standard response that through net banking do this, through phone banking do this etc. Tried internet banking and it asks for that stupid grid numbers and obviously no one outside india will carry the debit cards in their wallet. Wrote e-mail to [protected]@icicibank.com and got the same response as chat, tried internet banking again and this time with those useless debit cards only to get a message that debit card grid has been disabled. Pathetic. Opted to receive a call from icici and got that and disconnected. Irony is i can't even close these stupid accounts online. Thought with 15 years there might be little bit change in banking with technology but no it has only gone down south. If someone closes my account i will award them inr 500.
