[Resolved] ICICI Bank — unethical account charges | |
We had women savings account since 4 years. As per the norm, we need to have one rd running to convert this as zero balance account. However, rules have changed, no notification has been sent (No communication) Now as per bank one need maintain min 10000 inr as balance failing which mab charges will be debited to account. Now we had noticed that there are charges debited but no notification via email or sms (No communication) After enquiry with cc, we have been asked to visit branch, when visited bank staff including manager has no clue on this product and he said that min rd value has been increased (Just to send us away). But when insisted further about no communication to customers, they just argued that communication has been sent and he cannot give any details. Again, they asked to to contact customer care and no help can be offered. That means banks can change policies without intimating to customers and start debiting from their accounts.
