ICICI Bank — Unfair deduction of balance | |||
Hello Everyone, I am having savings bank account in ICICI ahmedabad branch from last 3 and a half years and my account no. is[protected]. Contact No:- [protected] On 8/11/2015 when i was about to pay for a mobile recharge my transaction failed because a whooping sum of Rs.513 was deducted from my account by ICICI bank on 31/10/2015 in the name of SMAB CHGS. Till date I don't have any mail informing about this MAB charges. I have no information from ICICI. Now that I understand that ICICI bank has not informed me about change of balance system, hence any deduction from account for the same is totally wrong and if charges deducted are not credited back to my account then I will be left with no other option but to take this matter to higher authorities and Banking Ombudsman as this is CLEAR VIOLATION of Rule 8(1)(k) i.e. "levying of charges without adequate prior notice to the customer" of The Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006.
