[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Unlawful enforced selling of a policy, and non refund in free lookup period.

Dear Sir,
I am an account holder with ICICI bank in sector 14 and sector 15 Gurgaon.
On 30th July 2016, I went to sector 14 branch of ICICI bank in Gurgaon to get a passbook and get it updated. While I was busy requesting officials there to get my passbook and netbanking activated, a fund manager there saw that my money in the bank account is kept idle in their account since last 1 or 2 yrs. So he advised me to transfer some amount to buy one of their policy saying that it will give me much more interest than keeping it idle. I told him that I will be require money anytime soon that's why I don't intend to do so. Still they kept telling me repeatedly to buy their policy but I told them in any case I should discuss it with my parents and family and cannot buy it immediately. But an official there Mr. Harshit Singhal (Contact no. [protected]) while telling me about all the benifits of their policy, untruthfully told other official that I have agreed to buy their policy and they immediately deducted a large sum of money as policy money from my other bank account which is with sector 15 ICICI branch without my permission or knowledge. I came to know about it with surprise and annoyment when I received bank's SMS on my mobile. Later I realised that they accessed my other branch account by using PAN details saved in their system. Mr. Harshit Singhal tried to make the situation look easy saying that there is a free look up period of 15 days within which if I want to cancel their policy, it will be cancelled without any questions and got the papers signed form me, and also gave me answers to some questions which I had to say by dialling a customer care number of ICICI bank so that the policy is started or refunded whatever be the case. Later, on 13th August 2016 (because I am going to need the money for some occasions and functions at home and my inability to pay such a huge sum as policy premium for the next 5 years) when I told him to cancel the policy, he said being Saturday he has got no access to the bank's computer system and said nothing can be done till 16th August 2016 i.e next Monday. On Monday he said that the free look up period is over and according to Bank Policy rules, nothing can be done form his end and he has to speak to his seniors/managers. Afterwards when I called him he said even his manager cannot refund my money and nothing can be done. Let me reiterate that I will be requiring money for some occasions and functions at home and I am unable to pay such a hefty premium for the next 5 years, I request that my money which was deducted by the bank's personnel without my knowledge or permission, be remitted to my bank account immediately.
I am constantly under burden and mental tension that my money is deducted from my bank account without my knowledge or permission and the bank is making me bound to their rules with their malpractices and fraud.
I have developed severe symptoms due to this stress and am having sleepless nights.

It's been around one month and still no action has been taken yet. I want to update that the fund manager Mr. Harshit Singla is changed and he is not my fund manager anymore. I want my case to be resolved with full refund of my money at the earliest. Thank you.
