ICICI Bank — unopened demat account

I have not opened any demat account when i was opening saving bank account in ICICI bank in 2012 and after a year i have closed that account and in 2017 i have opened another saving bank account and not opened any demat account again but in January 2018 ICICI bank hold my account with the charges of Demat account of Rs, 2537/- with new account and customer care says it have been hold with your previous account opened in 2012. this is a fraud by icici bank and i have going to branch and customer care again and again but i was unable to close my demat account and unable to get refund.
