[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Utilized credit limit/amount for failed/declined international transaction not released/reversed

The following transaction (in USD) was declined by the merchant and the order was not placed but it's still not been reversed yet to my credit card ending in 8003:

• Date:[protected]
• Reference number:[protected]
• Merchant name: AWL*PEARSON EDUCATION
• Amount to be reversed: USD 35.09 (= approx. INR 3, 000)

My XX8003 credit card bill was also generated on January 21, 2024, but the amount has still not been reversed and reflected in my last or current statement.

Please look into it, and reverse the amount to my credit card.

The transaction was declined from the merchant's end. So the amount needs to be reversed to my card.

Customer care is also not ready to register any investigation complaint in this regard. They just keep telling me that my credit limit was not utilized.
