ICICI Bank has terrible OTP service. Every time there is a fund transfer needed urgently I either get OTP after long time or I don't get it. I usually end up using other bank accounts for any transaction. ICICI Bank name is big but not sure if they are actually looking at core issues. Very bad experience on 17/10/2020 and 18/10/2020 where I spend the entire weekend trying to call customer service and no avail. No clear indication on OTP. If I use the IBOTP option it gives unrelated error. Utter waste of time!

ICICI Bank OTP has mood swings. Sometimes it comes, may be once in 10 attempts. Then if we try OTP on call, call from a North America number comes with nice Indian Music but no OTP. When called NRI service they don’t have a clue if there is SMS or OTP on call problems. They ask to check with my service provider while they don’t understand the arguments that :
1) All SMS from everywhere are coming
2) If SMS is sent successfully it follows and email which doesn’t come when SMS has not come.
3) We waste time for incoming call OTP for no use.
Do something guys.
