[Resolved]  Icici Lombard — cancel and refund amount to my home loan account

Hello icici team,

I have taken joint home loan from icici bank against the loan account no. Lbpun[protected]. Bank sanctioned amount rs. 78.50 lacs and disbursed rs. 77 lacs. And remain amount 1, 50, 000 used for policy premium.

The details document kit that was received to me as per following.

1) document kit received on 07.09.2018 contains,
Policy no: - 4080/ipsyhl/[protected]/00/000 with icici lombard secure mind policy
Policy no:[protected] with icici pru loan protect plus sp

2) document kit received on 30.09.2018 contains,
Policy no: - 4080/ipsyhl/[protected]/00/000 with icici lombard secure mind policy
Policy no:[protected] with icici pru loan protect plus sp

The policy document was received to me were many errors so i reported these to mr. Ashwin (Email - ashwin. [protected]@icicilombard.com, and +91 [protected]).
By hand written request to bank on 12.09.2018, i request to him to cancel all these policy and refund this amount and credit it to my home loan account no. Lbpun[protected].

Same day, i send the email to avinash also (Ashwin’s manager – email avinash. [protected]@icicilombard.com and mob. No.[protected]) with same details.

The 1st document kit was received to me on 07.09.2018 contained the error like,
Policy no: - 4080/ipsyhl/[protected]/00/000 contains the name of lady ms. Neha vilas mhapankar (Hard copy shown to mt. Ashwin also).
I dont know who is she and what is the relation of her in the policy so it is totally frustrating to me.

I had a call with customer care and they informed me that the policy no:[protected] is invalid now. (I don’t know why it is invalid even i received the document by mail and no such intimation also not received to me from bank also).

Another, 2nd document kit received to me on 30.09.2018 also contained the error so i reported to ashwin and also given him hand written request on 12.09.2018 which is within 15 days from the document received to me.

I loosed confidence on these policy. It is very frustrating me to have follow-up with these person (Ashwin and avinash) because i not getting positive reply as well as not even any action on this.
I continuously called and sending him email and asking for the status of my request but still i am not received any reply from both of them and i am so much fade up with this.

So i request you to cancel theses policy and refund my amount and credit it to my home loan account no. Lbpun[protected].

Hello Team,
Thank you for your feedback . I would like to also inform you that today i had received one cheque no. 796681 against the Policy No 24690338 from ICICI Pru Loan Protect Plus SP of amount 59 Rs. only which they additionally received for the premium .
My question is that, why they did not credit/refund this amount to my home loan account instead to refund me directly as it was already paid through home loan account .
Also is it necessary to register another complaint for ICICI Pru Loan Protect Plus SP ? or it is consider in same complaint .

Hello Team,

Thank you very much for your kind feedback . My simple request is that cancel the policy and refund / Credit the policy premium amount to my Home Loan account .

Also I would like to give you additional information that, yesterday I received the email from Mr. Avinash about each Policy and premium amount that paid for each policy also .

So out of these 3 policy, I already requested to cancel the 2 Policy document i.e 1) Policy No - 4080/IPSYHL/[protected]/00/000 Amount : 74135/- icici lombard gic ltd. and 2 ) Policy No[protected] Amount : 27086/- icici prudential lic ltd.

But the 3rd policy still not received to me and so my request is to cancel this 3) Policy No[protected] Amount : 37156/- icici prudential lic ltd also and refund / credit amount to my home loan account .
