[Resolved] Icici Lombard — policy cancellation and refund | |
Dear sir/madam, I have very serious complaint for icici lombard general health insurance. One of your icici lombard executive called me for a health insurance policy and convinced me to purchase the policy with some fake assurance. He asked me to pay immediately with credit card. However after a day, i realized that the policy is useless. So i called icici lomard executive and told him to cancel the policy. He was okay to cancel the policy at that time. He said cancellation request is in progress now. You dont worry about that you will get full refund after march ending. I have all recordings with me. After some days i contacted icici lombard customer care they told me that they didn't get any request to cancel the policy earlier and now i have to pay a huge amount rs.6500+ (25%) amount towards cancellation charges. I called customer care on the second day to cancel the policy which they processed to cancel. I have called lombard executive many times, but the team is just placing the ball in other's court. Please do the needful to get my entire refund and get policy cancelled immediately. Policy no:4128i/ihp/[protected]/00/000 Please help me in cancelling this policy and return the deducted amount. I put a request to discontinue / cancelation my policy on line with reference number [protected] dated 08/12/2020 also I have mailed a picture of a cancelled check and closing request letter. After that I receive a mail from your side on 09/12/2020 in which described that work in progress but till now I have not receive revert or refund from your side.
