[Resolved]  ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — refund of premium and disregarding instructions and making choices on own.

I have one policy (no:[protected].

I have taken this policy on 4th Aug 2018. As an agent of the company promised good returns. But after year and the performance of the fund was not quite good. So I have decided not to continue with the policy.

After not receiving a premium on time, Company support has started harassment calls. Even after refusing to continue with the policy. I kept on getting at least 3-4 calls a week. I requested to stop doing so but it didn't end there. I asked them to close the policy. So they instructed that I can't close the policy but the only option I have is not to pay a premium of the policy.

After 4th Aug 2019, I have stopped paying the premium. But until one day on 22nd Jan 2020 out of sudden my account got deducted with premium(60k RS.).

One visiting branch they said that I have requested to debit the premium. On asking of information to branch manager of Koramangala, Bangalore he said there is ECS active on my account. (this got me worried as I had more than enough money for the past two month in my account and it didn't happen that time). I asked about more information on the trigger of the event. In return, he gave no information and assured me that I will get my money back by the end of the month.
But It seems I have not got my money back. Plus just after deduction of the money I strictly advise them not to invest my money in any other funds to make sure I don't have to bear further loose. I have opened the portal and register customer requests for the same. Request no:[protected],[protected].
They have acknowledged by mailing that our senior management is taking care of this. But It is not the case and all of my money has been invested in the funds.

1) No active ECS in my bank account
2)My request to branch manager of Koramangala Bangalore.
3) My policy was discontinued as of 22nd Jan 2020 and my money were not invested in any funds till that day.
4)They have invested my money back in the fund without my consent.
