IDBI Federal — false promises by idbi federal policy no[protected]

My wife had taken an insurance on june 2013. The agent told her that she only need to pay 1 time of 14550/- and in 5 yrs we can claim the money. Then after 1 year we started receiving calls that we need to pay at least for 3 yrs then only we can claim the money. Then we paid full 3 yrs and in 5 th year we claim the money but we only received approx 14950/- out of deposit of 44850/-. I wrote numerous time to idbi federal but they keep on sending same old message again again saying we have signed the paper. As my wife doesn't know all this procedure the agent assured her that she need not to worry and he will handle it everything.
