[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — Against Unknown person Online Credit Card Transaction (on my Axis bank credit card)

Dear Sir,

On dt. 04.13.2017 I had received a call from [protected] on 4.30pm (dated 04.13.2017) in my mobile, where he said we are calling from bank online reward points department and she asked the credit card details for the purpose of giving additional reward points and cash back. I gave the card number and she asked the CVV & OTP when i checked the SMS completely till the transaction done. After she told me within 2 days the reward points will credit in your card. After 2 hours later (04.13.2017) i checked & the amount of Rs.19748 debited in my card. I checked with bank, they told the amount transaction done in some other merchant, immediately i blocked my card with help of bank executive. I tried to contact that person but the mobile no. comes switched off.

Bank has shared dispute form and asked to file a police complaint. and I did that.

Please request you to help me on this matter to get back the amount.

This is to bring to your notice that i have recently (few hours back) have lost my sim card of IDEA, and to avoid any kind of damage to the sim, I want you to kindly block the sim number and issue me new sim as soon as possible. This happened few hours back around 8:15 pm ...
