Idea Cellular — customer harassment by avoiding porting and generating bill | |||
I was using three nos from idea [protected] [protected]- was my no from day one, idea team offered me to take additional nos at 199 each with untlimited benefits... Hence i went to idea store and got additional nos [protected] [protected] At the time of first billing cycle i got seperate bills i called up customer care and they told me dob was not matching hence, i need to go t store again. I was surprised and dismayed as i had submitted same documents for both nos.. Anyways in time i just accepted it and started making payments seperately. Somewhere over past 6 months i started having network connection issues and started complaining, the issue remained unresolved. As a result i literally stopped using [protected] On 23/12/2019 or 24/12/2019- i called up idea to check on reason of my bill increase and to subsequently pay my bill. I then got into the conversation on nirvana plan and putting this into one bill that is when i was again asked to visit neraest idea store with documentation. I took on t the road went two three locations all nearby stores were closed, i was all the time on idea phone soon i realised that the closest service station was minimum 10 kms away. Dismayed i called up idea again and requested to allow me to load documents or offered they be collected. I was refused. Frustated i said i will port the no. I contacted airtel i was offered to club all 4nos (I have another no from airtel) under one bill of 999/- that meant a saving of nearly 700 rs to me. On 25/12 i cleared all my dues after contacting idea customer care are initiated portal request for first two nos on 24/12 [protected] [protected] I was flooded with calls... I repeated my reason for porting t don't know how many people i got literally fed up!!! [protected]- primary no became operational on 28/12 [protected] despite my request and phone call confirmations. Upc code generation.. Porting request was not adheared to and i reraised a request 0n 31/12.. Finally 3/01/2020- my phone no got ported [protected] port request raised on 3/01/2020 — upc code offered till 8/012020 Again i was flooded with calls, my answer was i need to port. That is final.. I was forced to reply the reason over an over again. I stopped picking up calls Subsequently i received an email and message from idea welcoming me back to idea, and a regret message from airtel i was shocked and dismayed. I raised another request on 9/01/2020... Upc code was valid till 13/1/2020 i patiently waited …. Again it was not ported. Airtel told me idea is not releasing the no. I got a message i am unreachable!!! Again i raised a port request on 17/01/2020... Upc code was valid till 21/01/2020... Worried i called up 198 (Of idea)... On 20/01/2020 — i was told... It is a government led issue and porting is not allowed. I said ok cancel the connection.. I was told i cannot and i have to visit the idea showrooom. Exactly the reason i left idea.!!! I was advised by airtel team to visit vodaphone store... There i was told i need to pay my bill!!! Whatttt Now i don't understand../ 1. Why was my porting request denied before on 3/01-13/01 — obviously not bill payment. As i promptly made as advised and per mandate. 2. Why should i pay bill for a no not used that i clearly wanted to save rental by porting 3. Why customer care on 198-on 20/01/202 tell me misleading information?!!! 4. I have raised the complaint to appellate. Vodafone since past 12 days and i am continuously being advised to pay the bill. And alos being told it is airtel fault. I obviously don't want to pay as i migrated to airtel from idea to save this bill. Was this information helpful? | |||
