To Whom It may concern,
I got this number (Mobile # [protected]) port into Idea in August 2017 with the Rental Plan @499.
Below are the features offered at the time of the activation of the Plan:
1: Monthly Rental will be @399 due to port,
2: All Incoming and Outgoing calls (Local and Roaming) will be free,
3: Text Message will be free of cost,
3: 1 GB/per day lifetime,
4: 5 GB/per month extra data for six months.
However, the bill I received for this month and all the previous months are not as per the Plan.
Calls in Roaming have been charged robustly.
I have been billed @499 Plan and not as per 399.
I have been billed for VAS Rs 100 which I never requested for,
I have been charged for text messages in the last month bill.
So, I called the
Idea customer care to complain about all the above wrong charges levied to my bill but, I shocked with the answer given by "Raveena" that I have been charged as per the bill plan.
She said, there is another Rental Plan @499 which has all this feature.
So, I told her why I port this number into Idea was because of all this features offered.
I asked to waive off all the wrongly levied charges on my bill however, she was keep on telling that she could not take request for the same.
I also said, why I have been given wrong details while the activation of this plan however, she did not give any clarification about it.
I am lodging a serious complain against Idea portability and features offered as I have been deceived by giving wrong details.
This is the first time I took Idea however, I think Idea only believes in deceiving its customers and how to fetch money as higher as possible which I am not letting you do it.
Please remove all the extra levied charges at the earliest and give me the revised bill to pay as per all the features offered at the time of the portability.

We tried reaching you on your alternate contact number but couldn't get through. Kindly share us your convenient date and time to get in touch with you along with the complete details of the customer care executive name and number from where you've received the call and provided you the plan details while mobile number portability to take necessary action.

I am not going to talk at all over the phone .
If you at all want to resolve my query, please do it via email only.
You people only tell lies over the phone and only know how to harass your customers and uses all possible abusive and filthy language.
I do not want to receive even a single call from Idea. I do not know who the people you have hired, they do not know how to talk professionally over the phone.
Each and every thing has to be done via this email communication only so that I should have records of it.
It has been more than a month now however, nothing happened.

Updated by TDR I could not understand when I asked to communicate via email only why I have been keep on being contacted by phone only. Every time, they call and ask me to tell the query over the phone and each time I have said that I want only email communication and also told them that I have mentioned each and every query on the email. Then, why I am being asked the same query again and again over the phone.
Today, again they called me and again asked the same question then, again I said to communicate via email only.
After that, they have sent the below email which I never expected.
I do not want any relation with Idea anymore. If Idea needs payments from my side, then I will pay a single amount after being waived off all the extra levied charges on all the bills since I too Idea and deactivate the
Idea Sim.
The outgoing call has already been barred by Idea without any notification and this number is not being used by me all. So, there is no meaning of sending bills after bills.

1st Bill received: 03 October 2017
13 September 2017 to 02 October 2017 (as per Pro Rata basis for 20 Days) : Rs 392.55 charged @499
Bill Paid on 14 Oct 2017: Rs 392.55
However, It had to be as per @399 as per Port offer (Offered by Idea at the time of activation of the Plan):
Bill Calculation: RS 313.88 (266 + 18% GST) as per Pro Rata
Discrepancy on the bill: Rs 392.55 - Rs 313.88 = Rs 78.67.
2nd Bill Received: 03 November 2017
From 03 October 2017 to 02 November 2017: Rs 592.36 charged @499
Bill Paid Rs 593.00 on 18 November 2017
However, It had to be charged @399:
Bill Calculation @399: Rs 470.82 (399 + 18% GST)
Discrepancy on the bill: (SMS Rs 03.00 charged wrongly) Rs 592.36 - Rs 470.82 = Rs 121.54
3rd Bill Received: 03 December 2017
From 03 November 2017 to 02 December 2017: Rs 664.14
Complain Raised for the discrepancy on the Bill on 12 December 2017 via email after my query was not resolved on customer care via phone.
Bill Calculation @399: Rs 470.82 + Re 01.00 (
Idea Customer Care Charge) = Rs 472.00 (Rs 399.00 + 01.00 + 18% GST)
Discrepancy on the bill:
1. Rental Charge: Rs 100
2. VAS Charge : Rs 100
3: Roaming Charge: Rs 62.84
Total Discrepancy on the bill: Rs 664.14 - Rs 472.00 = Rs 192.14
So, total waiver calculation: Rs 78.67 + Rs 121.54 + Rs 192.14 = Rs 392.35
Total bill for the December bill after waiver has to be Rs 271.79
I wrote emails after emails to resolve my query by 18 December 2017 (Bill Due Date) and deactivate the
Idea Sim however, it is going to be a month now and not a single action taken as of now.
So, please resolve my query at the earliest.

My number was deactivated from all the services by Idea on 09 January 2018 after writing the above email.
Now, today, I have received one more call from Idea that I the bill is still unpaid. I have already reiterated many times that I do not want to receive any calls from Idea. However, I have been keep on being contacted over the phone only.
Is there anybody who can adhere to my concern and resolve it or should I take the next step further?

We're sorry to make you feel this way. We've checked, the bill has been generated accordingly as per your plan, pack and usage charges for the month of December and as the dues weren't cleared the charges were carried forwarded in your current bill of January along with late payment charges. However, we would like to inform you that the late payment charges for the same has been reversed successfully from our end and you've received the discount of Rs.100/- for 6 months. Also, we request to share us the complete details of the customer care executive name and number from where you've received the call and provided you the plan details while mobile number portability to assist you further.
