Despite repeated follow-ups through customer care channels, I was consistently given false assurances over multiple days that the SIM would be delivered "today." This continued for over ten days, causing immense inconvenience and disruption to my communication needs.
On April 5, I finally received a call informing me — quite casually — that due to some “unfortunate reason, ” my order had been cancelled without any notification or prior consent. No explanation, escalation route, or official email contact was provided. Worse, I was told that no further help could be offered, and I cannot speak to any senior official.
This is not only fraudulent online commitment but also a direct violation of consumer rights and ethical business practices. I feel severely harassed, misled, and mentally stressed due to:
Repeated false promises and lack of transparency
Wasted time and effort following up
Financial impact due to delay in activation of required services
Emotional stress from the lack of accountability
Complete failure in grievance redressal mechanism
My Demands:
A formal apology from Vi for the mental harassment and inconvenience caused.
Compensation for the time lost, emotional distress, and financial damage.
Strict action against the negligence shown by the service provider.
Immediate review of such misleading business practices and systemic failures.
I request the Consumer Forum to kindly take serious note of this complaint and initiate action against the concerned company to ensure justice and fair treatment for customers like me.
