Hi Idea,
I have bought new idea SIM [protected] on 20 June 2014 and in evening I got SMS on my alternate number to activate SIM by calling 59059 .From that time till date I am trying 59059 but it is not connecting .

When call idea support and tell my problem they wouldn't talk logical and keep on saying pls try calling 59059 .I think these less skilled resource just work like parrot and only say single line and...

i just got entered from airtel to IDEA 1 to 2 months ago by porting number.( with group of 10 person)

i went out of INDIA for 20 days, and on returning i saw the message of 20 days before, of not paying airtel bill of 260 rs.
when i got back, my number was permenantly...

I applied for Mobile Number Portability from Dolphin to Idea Cellukar. In spite repeated requests from me, literally calling them more than 8-10 times the bills were delivered late by MTNL, that issue having been resolved, finally they accepted my Port Out request. On the night of August 31, 2011, exactly Midnight, MTNL shut down all services. Till date, today, September 03, 2011, that is THREE DAYS after their shutting down all services...

I had one idea post-paid connection no.[protected] and after using this no for a couple of months, i surrendered it on 30th March'10 at the local outlet of idea in durgapur. Address of the said office is GC9 ADDA, Shopping Plot, City Centre, Durgapur-16. I was given a payment receipt and the receipt no. was 953. I was told that everything was settled and this no. has got disconnected.

2.From last two month(March and April, 2010), Idea cellular service is deducting money for the sms packs which I never activeted. When I tried to complaint, customer care is not registering it.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Vi (Vodafone Idea Limited) for the unprofessional and deceptive handling of my recent SIM card order, which has caused me significant mental distress, financial loss, and a complete breach of trust.

Despite repeated follow-ups through customer care channels, I was consistently given false assurances over multiple days that the SIM would be delivered "today." This continued for over ten days, causing immense inconvenience and disruption to my communication needs.

On April 5, I finally received a call informing me — quite casually — that due to some “unfortunate reason, ” my order had been cancelled without any notification or prior consent. No explanation, escalation route, or official email contact was provided. Worse, I was told that no further help could be offered, and I cannot speak to any senior official.

This is not only fraudulent online commitment but also a direct violation of consumer rights and ethical business practices. I feel severely harassed, misled, and mentally stressed due to:

Repeated false promises and lack of transparency
Wasted time and effort following up
Financial impact due to delay in activation of required services
Emotional stress from the lack of accountability
Complete failure in grievance redressal mechanism
My Demands:
A formal apology from Vi for the mental harassment and inconvenience caused.
Compensation for the time lost, emotional distress, and financial damage.
Strict action against the negligence shown by the service provider.
Immediate review of such misleading business practices and systemic failures.
I request the Consumer Forum to kindly take serious note of this complaint and initiate action against the concerned company to ensure justice and fair treatment for customers like me.

I would like to switchover from idea to other service provide due to bad signal.
I am trying many times to port from idea to other service provider is not allowing. My mobile number is [protected].

i am receiving the below message

UPC cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual *obligations with your service provider. please contact your service provider for further assistance

Masage, incoming and out going is stopped.

Without any fault showing no service i tried every way to fix it but same problem when i called to customer care she was saying your sim got damage/corrupted so visit to store to replace the sim by paying charges but i'm not understanding if it's my fault i will ready to pay but without any reason why i have to visit store and replace the sim idea should delivery the replace the sim at my door step.

My idea prepaid sim is not working in UAE (Dubai), which was working till yesterday. Now no network is showing up. I need to get this active asap inorder to get the OTP on this number. The sim is active till 21 August 23

From the past two days, My idea sim is network is not giving any signal, Please kindly check and verify why it is giving this type of disturbance and call drop is also occured. And I had already recharged my 84 day plan.

Please note that I've been using my VI number [protected] since 2015.
It has been continuously active since 2015 and the plan validity of my last prepaid recharge plan of 84 days was up to 4th June.
Suddenly my Number stopped working on 19th May. There was No Network, No Incoming, No Outgoing - completely Blank & on enquiry from the VI Gallery, I was informed that my number was disconnected for want of KYC & further that the number could be activated only if I opted for Postpaid Connection under Family Plan with an additional New VI Connection.

I was made to pay Rs.100 for reconnection charges or SIM replacement charges.

After that I received a call from Customer Care & I narrated the whole saga to the Customer Care Representative. He assured me to help in this regard & helped me in processing the online application for
'POSTPAID TO PREPAID' migration. I also made an Online Payment of Rs. 479/- towards activation of the PrePaid Recharge Plan with a Validity of 56 days for the Successful Completion of my application.
The Screen Shot towards acknowledgment of the above procedure is attached herewith for your kind reference.

After going through the above ordeal, my number is still not working.
It has been 20 days and is still in the disconnection mode.

I have never activated any services from idea, but automatically VI activating services in behalf of me, there is total 35 deduction 2 VAS activated one is Handset inbuilt games 25/- and the second one is Telsync games 10/- . Please take strong action against idea.

I've been attempting to get back my funds from this site for several months, but I've been encountering errors. I strongly advise against depositing your money on this site. I was able to recover my money thanks to Durafox Tech, I came across their services via Google, and they assisted me in regaining access to all my funds.
