Idea Cellular — Wrong Information by Customer Care resulted in huge bill

This is regarding recent bill (Bill No. [protected]; Bill Period : 04-Mar-2015 to 03-Apr-2015) generated for one of my Idea Postpaid number 88XXXXXX35.I've been charged excessively for the Data usage beyond the plan limit of 512 MB. I agree with the calculations but would like to bring to your notice that this huge bill amount is a result of incorrect information furnished by Idea Customer Care Executive (referred as CCE in further part of the mail). When I realized that I've crossed the plan data limit (512 MB), I called Idea Customer Care on 26th March (around 9am; from another No. 96XXXXXX96) to understand a better option so as to have a minimum impact on my bill. I was told about the Data Booster Packs with an information that this pack can be activated any time before the bill generation date based on the data consumed. I explicitly asked CCE that is it going to be the same if I get this, may be, 1 day before the bill generation date so that it will help me to select an appropriate plan based on data consumed above 512 MB limit. E.g. If Additional data consumed is less that 300MB, I'll go for 100 Rs (300 MB Pack) etc. Next day, on 27th March, I saw an advertisement of Idea in Times of India where these booster packs were marked with some validity. With an assumption that the CCE has furnished incorrect information on 26/03, I called Idea Customer Care again on 27th March (around 8:10 am; from No. 96XXXXXX96) knowing that I was given wrong information a day before. I straight away placed a request for activation of 100 Rs Booster Pack (300 MB data benefit). I asked CCE that I want to escalate this matter, he told this can happen only after bill generation. Since, these conversations are recorded, I want you to hear both the recordings (especially the one happened on 26/03, 9am) and give necessary adjustment to the generated bill. Please note that these calls were made from my Idea Postpaid No. 96XXXXXX96 and not from the affected no. 88XXXXXX35. I was very disappointed with this experience post my recent Port-in to Idea from Airtel and hope you will give some relief to me. In case of no action/benefit I'll be left with no option other than Porting out from Idea to another better vendor.
