Sir, i have retired from railways and hold a salary /pension account with a branch at chintadripet branch, ifsc :idib000c040, account :[protected].
On 17.6.19, i have recd a message on my registered mobile that form 16for fy 18-19 can be recd from any nearest indian bank branch. I approached the nearest branch at ottery branch, loacted near my residence on strahans, chennai -600012 and contacted the branch manager. I regret to complain that the branch manager flatly refused to issue me the form 16 and said i should only get from the branch where my pension is credited. He did not bothe to look at the sms message recd on my mobile, and in a very dis courteous manner refused to entertain my request and even not allowed me to stand in his cabin. When i told him i will lodge a complaint, he challenged me to do anything. The branch contact is shown as[protected].
Sir, kindly clarify why such irrelevant messages are forwarded to customers which are out right rejected by your own branches putting a senior citizen like me with embarrassment and agony/suffering.
