Indian Bank — non adherence of security measure in pollachi main branch indian bank | |||
I am a retired officer from a nationalised bank. I went for a updation at indian bank pollachi main branch last week. I felt suspicious about a person in the branch so i would like to share the information.The person was named rajendran and was a sbi life insurance guy available there. The person was moving to all sections freely and sharing all information about the bank then the zonal officer movements to various branches with timings. He was having access to cash counter deposit counters .Abm.Cm cabin.Wash room in way to locker room.He was left freely to move all over. He was even given permission to do life certificate work in a network accessed computer as said by the abm. When enquired about how you are letting a outsider to do all secured things to abm. His reply was cm has permitted him to do all things. Coming to security point of view an outsider cannot access a network connected computer. Cannot access to strong room.Cannot access inside the premises counter where only staff are permitted. I was also told that he goes and sits near the wash room and starts speaking in mobile and all female staffs going to washroom feel uncomfortable due to his presence always near wash room.I cant say an officer to not allow such things so i have written in this site. A person outside of the bank staff should be restricted at customer lounge and should not be permitted inside the staff restricted area including the wash room area where from access to strong room and locker is easy. We have seen so many frauds in the past and thistype of activity should be stopped. Its my request that a enquiry may be done by the security section and the police report about the person mentioned may be collected before allowing this type of guys inside the bank.I would like to advice the cm that cross selling may be done but no compromise with the security of the bank.Please initiate action for my complaint.
