Indian Oil Corporation [IOC] — Filled my car with petrol instead of diesel due to negligence of petrol pump attendant

On 11th July 2022, 8:13 pm at I.O.C.L TRILOCHAN SERVICE STATION, BADA LALPUR, VARANASI i took my car for refuelling and asked the attendent to fill diesel of Rs. 2, 000 then i checked zero and he started filling it. After that i paid him and asked for receipt he gave me that and i left for home. I agree that i didn't kept watching at the meter but who have ever thought that such an illiterate and careless employee will be offered a job at the fuel pump.

Day before yesterday i had some work so i took my car but when i started accelerating the RPM does not increases and my car speed does not increases, i called service center they said there might be some issue in fuel injector so today i took my car to service center when they checked they said that your car is filled with petrol i got shocked after hearing that. They poured out all the mixed fuel out of the tank and did cleaning of the diesel tank and fuel injector.
All this happened just because of the negligence of the fuel attendant because he didn't listened carefully that i asked for DIESEL and not Petrol and even on my tank's cap it is mentioned that this car is diesel car there also he did not bothered to read it and filled the tank carelessly. just because of his negligence i had to suffer physically and financially.
Getting my car towed to getting it repaired and fill it with new fuel all costed me around 8, 000 so i want compensation of rs 8, 000 otherwise i will file a case in consumer forum.
After getting my car repaired i went again to the petrol pump then there manager said sir we don't keep camera recording for more than 7 days.
So i want a strict action and full refund of all the expenses occured just because of the negligence of the employee.
