I am using gas services from Indane through the above mentioned vendor. Today i faced 2nd time an issue from the cylinder that they provided to us. The first time was on Jan 1st 2019 when we realized that the cylinder was heavily leaking. Upon stressing the delivery boy to check it before giving it to us, all he said was we already tested it and its absolutely fine and we don't have to worry about smell. But gas smell went worse slowly and we realized that it's leaking. It was 2 am in the night when i felt smell was extreme and i have immediately called national helpline number for immediate assistance. Meanwhile, i had used wheat flour to close the leaking area and immediately placed it in the balcony so the gas smell goes into air. The serviceman came immediately and said if we had not put cylinder in balcony immediately, it would have resulted in a bad incident because he measured how fast the gas was leaking.
He strictly informed us not to take cylinder until its checked in front o[censored]s.
But again yesterday it repeated. The nob itself was not proper and my mother insisted the delivery boy to check it in front of her but he denied.
I am very emotionally writing to you because every morning after my family members leave to their offices, only my mother stays at home. It was blessing from almighty that nothing happened to her in-spite of such incidents.
I would request your action to be taken on the distributor and they follow some thumb rules in order for our safety. Today it happened to us, we realized quickly and acted upon it. But if it were to someone who doesn't know, no idea what would have happened. It might seem to be a simple issue but i feel it's cost of all customers using cylinder from above mentioned distributor.
