Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — Server downtime for 5 mins for users

I’ve been trying to book a Tatkal ticket for the past week, but every time the booking window opens, I get logged out repeatedly for the first 1–2 minutes. After logging back in and searching for trains, I encounter an error saying, “There seems to be an issue in connection, please try again in some time.”

By the time this issue resolves (around 5 minutes later), all available Tatkal tickets are already gone. During these crucial minutes, agents seem to be able to book tickets without any issues, while regular users are left helpless.

Despite paying the additional Tatkal charges, I am not receiving the service promised. This experience is extremely disappointing and unfair to genuine passengers.
