Indian Railways — coolie/ porter services

Incredibly aggressive and harassing behaviour by this coolie (Photo below) at new delhi railway station last evening.

My husband and i were travelling with my elderly in-laws, who have limited mobility, and when we refused coolie services, this coolie (Pic below) spitefully turned the escalators off by pressing the emergency stop button. I could not get the escalators working again despite calling the help centre and asking for assistance - and my in-laws then had to walk up the stairs with great pain and difficulty (While this coolie kept pestering us all along). He was excessively rude, aggressive and refused to follow fixed rates.

While coolies at ndls can often get incredibly aggressive and refuse to follow fixed rates - the spiteful and violent behaviour of this man was shocking. I have tried to lodge a formal complaint against him online but can find no information on the indian railways website.

I had some guests from abroad with me and i have never been more embarrassed of my fellow country-men. It’s a shame that people like this man can bring utter disgrace to the country and there is no proper channel to take effective action against them (Or if there is one, then it isn’t easy to find online).

I hope that this online complaint reaches the right audience and some corrective action is taken.
