I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against the rejection of my TDR filed for PNR [protected] under extremely unfair and unreasonable grounds.
🔹 Journey & TDR Details:
PNR: [protected]
Train: 09628 – SUR AII SF SPL
Journey Date: 17/04/2025
Boarding Station: UDHNA (UDN)
Passengers: DEEPIKA (F, Age 34), HARSHAL (M, Age 9)
Class: 3A (RAC 29, 30 – Seats B1 11, B1 14)
TDR Filed: 18/04/2025
Reason: Train running late by 10 hours, and train did not stop at UDHNA station, making it impossible to board
Despite the passengers waiting at the station for several hours, the train did not stop at the scheduled boarding point, and hence, they could not board. I filed a TDR immediately after confirming the train passed without halting, yet it was rejected stating “TDR not filed within 3 hours of train departure”.
This is completely unreasonable — how could I file the TDR before the scheduled departure when the train was running 10 hours late and didn't stop at the boarding point? I respectfully request a re-evaluation of this case and request a full refund, as per railway rules and basic fairness. Was this information helpful? |
