[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — not allowed to travel by indigo airlines against confirm ticket on 16/2/2018

Dear Sir,

This was the great humiliation done by Indigo Airlines to travel on 16/2/2018 giving reasons of Cancellation of ticket which was completely false statement as I have not received any intimation through mail or phone call neither refund of total amount by any of the concerned Indigo or IRCTC flights website.
Indigo has hampered my personal dealing of worth two crores at Chandigarh due their negligence and false reasons.
The details of the story is as follows:
1. My family confirmed/approved ticket was booked on 19.11.2018 from Ranchi to Chandigarh for 17.2.2018.
Flight 6E 398 from Ranchi to Delhi- Pnr BINM3R
Flight 6E 937 from Delhi to Chandigarh- Pnr BINM3R
2. On 12th January, 2018 I received a call from Indigo Customer care requesting to change the ticket from Ranchi to Delhi as Chandigarh Airport is under construction ensuring that from Delhi to Chandigarh ticket amount will be refunded. Hence I have opted from Ranchi to Delhi flight on 16/2/2018 against which they have issued me fresh ticket for the same on 12/1/2018 as follows:
Flight 6E 436 date of journey 16/2/2018, depart at 14.15 hrs, Booking reference-BINM3R.
3. Now with my family I hired a car from Bokaro to Ranchi Airport with confirmed and approved ticket for my flight reported at 12 noon. when I produced my I ternary to the counter for boarding pass then they come out saying that your ticket is cancelled which has completely shocked us as my daughter's engagement was scheduled and complete arrangement was made at a hotel this was completely cheating done by them. Requesting them that there is no intimation from IRCTC or Indigo received about the ticket cancellation.
4. Then one of the fellow Mr Kundan, mobile no[protected] of indigo has taken out the print showing cancellation but at the same time Rs 12000/- was appearing at the bottom no refund was made against Ranchi to Delhi so that I could have understood the ticket has become valueless.
5.Then Mr Kundan again came with the print of cancelled ticket and saying that your Rs 12000/- against ranchi to delhi has been processed.
6. Lastly due to the fraud of indigo Airlines I have to purchased a fresh ticket for my family with a payment of Rs 31740/= through my debit card.
Flight 6E 6184 departs 20.25 hrs Booking reference F9IBWV.
I request you to take severe action against Indigo and IRCTC and at the same time I request you to force to pay the compensation of two Crores against damage suite for harassment and blood pressure rise which could have happened any thing to me and my family as daughters engagement was disturbed.
At the same time I am hiring a consumer forum advocate to take this case against indigo.

I am enclosing all the evidences for your references.
a) 17/2/2018 and 16/2/2018 tickets.
b) Mr kundan both print out showing Rs 12000/- and rs 00.
c) Fresh ticket purchased due to their fraudism.

Dear Sir,
Please refer the attachment sent to you, it includes the confirmed ticket for 17.2.2018 which was booked on 19.11.2017 from Ranchi to Chandigarh and the mail is received through IRCTC flights mail ID i.e "[protected]@irctc.co.in"
On 12.1.2018 Indigo approached directly with undersigned through mobile informing that since Chandigarh air port is under construction hence to provide the ticket from Ranchi to Delhi and refund for Delhi to Chandigarh will be processed. The option was given by indigo to opt either one day advance or one day after of 17.2.2018.
I have opted for 16.2.2018 from Ranchi to Delhi against which ticket was mailed on the very same day i.e 12.1.2018 and approved and confirmed ticket was mailed directly by "[protected]@goindigo.in"
Now in the past mail they have started blaming IRCTC flights showing the IP ID.
Since the ticket was booked by Indigo hence they are liable to produce all the evidences for the request whether given by us to cancel the ticket of 16.2.2018, flight 6E – 436 from Ranchi to Delhi.
They are continuously trying to divert the issue and their negligence part which has completely disturbed us and trapped us to purchase a fresh ticket by cash for night flight 6E-6184.
This is very serious matter which may have caused heart failure of anyone of the member of the journey due to the very important event in the evening i.e daughter’s engagement.
Sir, you are requested to take serious action and to compensate the losses bear by us.

I have no response from you regarding my complain. I request you to kindly take action or otherwise I have to opt another method for the justice.

Please refer the attachment of recent mail given by Indigo and reply of mine.
The indigo Airlines is unable to show the evidence for request given by me for cancellation of my flight for 16. 2.2018.
One more thing that they are replying that 16th February '18 flight was cancelled on 12.1.2018, but the refund is processed now on 17.2.2018 which indicates that ticket was not cancelled on 12.1.2018 till 16.2.2018 from Ranchi to Delhi flight.
Every evidences is with me which shows that indigo has cheated us to earn extra money by forcing to us to purchase a fresh ticket of Rs 32000/=
There must be hearing organized in consumer court.

As per your customer relation person the refund is made as follows:

3. 17.2.18- Rs 5624/=

Sl. No 1 &2 was confirmed by your person while approached myself mentioning the difficulties for flight from Delhi to Chandigarh on 12.1.2018.
If the ticket was cancelled on 12.1.2018 as per your version then why refund is processed after my journey date 16.2.2018 from Ranchi to Delhi i.e Rs5624/= on 17.2.2018 which still have not been received by me.

This indicates that you have only done intentionally to earn Rs 31740/= by cancelling my confirmed ticket and forced us to purchase a fresh ticket.
Please show me the request for cancellation of my flight for 16.2.2018.

The 16.2.2018 flight ticket is also sent by you on 12.1.2018( Approved and confirmed.)

Please be noted that the matter does not end by your side mail as this case is already taken up the consumer forum of Ranchi Jharkhand.

Please prepare all your evidences for that hearing, whomsoever the mistake has to be taken into account and proper justification will be done.

With reference to your email and telephonic conversation with you, we have investigated the matter and would like to summarize our findings for you.

You were booked to travel on flight 6E 398/937 from Ranchi to Chandigarh via Delhi on 17 Feb 18.

We would like to mention here that due to airport closure at Chandigarh no flights were operating between 12 Feb 18 to 26 Feb 18 due to which all the flights were cancelled.

Since you have requested to travel one sector from Ranchi to Delhi we have changed your travel date from 17 Feb 18 to 16 Feb 18 with no additional cost as per your request to our call center executive on the basis of good will gesture.

Due to cancellation of 6E 937 Delhi to Chandigarh we have processed partial refund of INR 6376.

We would like to mention here clearly that cancellation for the sector Ranchi to Delhi was done by your travel agent on 12 Jan 18 from the IP address 112.133.199.210 on 12 Jan 18 at 20:20hrs.The E itinerary of your cancelled ticket copy was also sent by the travel agent to you. We request you to kindly check with your travel agent.

However, understanding the inconvenience and purely as a service gesture our airport team have waived off entire cancellation fee which we understand was refunded to you.

Further, we are not in a position to offer any refund or claim from our end. Hence, we politely deny your request.
