Dear sir / madam, My travel bag is majorly damaged from nagpur to pune indigo flight on 6th apr19. When we reached to pune airport, we launched complaint at pune airport to your customer care office. You need to wait for the decision /reply of the responder 21 days, if the complaint was legally binding.
You need to collect all the documents related to travel and to the handling of your complaint
regarding the damage and to present them to the legal professional in the civil aviation.
This legal professional is a person who is hired for fee, whom you need to pay, and whose duty is to explain your rights (max compensation), your duties and the procedure before the court.
The court only can award the fair compensation to the passenger within about 12-18 months.
The legal assistance can cost from ~4000 rupees, plus government fees of Rs 100 or Rs 2000,
before the customers or before the district court in the state of the residence.
There is no other way to get the full compensation in case of "major" damage of the passenger baggage.
