I have been enjoying tatasky services as a premium customer for close to 10 year's now and have never faced any issue with the services.

Last weekend, 5th february 2018 i relocated to a new residence within bangalore city. Subsequently, i have called customer care and requested for reinstallation at my new premises. Within a couple of hours, i received a call from their local service team, they let me know the service cannot be completed as there was a lco (Local cable operator) issue in the area. Upon questioning further i got to know from the person that there were 15 to 20 service requests that we're pending because of lco issue. And, i was told the service cannot be provided. I have then logged a complaint for the same with customer care.

I have been calling customer care on a regular basis to find out the status of the complaints and the status of the reinstallation request. Everytime, i have called customer care i have been assured that the service will be provided but even after 10 days i don't see anything being done. Interestingly, all the tickets that we're logged have been closed without keeping me posted.

After repeated calls to the customer care, they (Customer care) arranged for installation at my new premises by a freelancer (Not part of tatasky) and he called me and informed me that he can perform the installation at my premises but he would charge me for the same. Being a premium customer i have enjoyed the privilege of not having to pay for re-installation, except for if there were any material cost. So, i denied the freelancer and questioned the customer care about why a freelancer was arranged for the installation and why i should pay him.

On top, i received a call from the backend team in pune and when i explained the issue to the executive she asked me to get the installation done on my own and then call the customer care to inform them about the address change. This is what you expect from the customer??

I received a call from the complaint resolution team yesterday, they assured that the issue will be resolved but nothing has happened. Today, unwillingly i have decided to cancel my subscription.

If there is a threat to technicians performing service in any location within the country, should they not go to the police?? Why cause trouble by not providing services at all?

I have approached another dth provider and they too have expressed lco issue but assured me that they'll perform installation at my premises.in which case, why tatasky cannot provide me this assurance?? Why another dth provider can do the job and not tatasky? Also, i have seen almost all dth subscribers in my new premises.

I got a call from the retention team this evening and have asked them to cancel my subscription and refund my money. Also, i have received a call from the complaint resolution team this evening (Phone number[protected], they have verified that the service cannot be provided at my new premises because of lco issues.
