This is in regard to the scandalously offensive behavior exhibited by an agent of yours who had visited our premises [block r, g. K.1, u. G. F.] between 03.30 p. M. And 04.00 p. M. On the afternoon of[protected].
There is a png connection installed at block r, greater kailash 1, upper ground floor, in the name of suresh mohan taneja.
Up until now, we have always paid all the bills generated by your company for the natural gas usage at block r, g. K. 1, ground floor; and there has never been any sort of issue.
This time around, there is a bill amount run up to 3, 592/-. We got delayed in paying this amount due to busy schedules. Although, without a chance of doubt, we never had any intention of not paying that bill. We would have paid sooner or later at our earliest convenience.
However, a shocking incident concerning an employee of yours has made us change our intention of paying. We all have now unanimously decided that we shall only pay if the igl representative who caused us immense trouble and harassment on the afternoon of[protected] is punished severely and harshly for his extremely unprofessional and impertinent conduct. Failing that, we shall decline to pay, whereupon the matter shall be proceeded against in court of law for consumers.
It was in the afternoon of[protected], during 3.30-4.00 p. M., that this happened. An agent came to our doorstep enquiring about the bill that was outstanding. He took the latest reading and asked us to pay 3, 500/- only instead of 3, 592/-. We told him we would pay online. He would not leave and began insisting on the transaction number. We told him we cannot give him the transaction number just yet, because it will take us time to complete the transaction online. We told him to return by evening and take the transaction number.
He did not listen and began arguing insolently and threatened to disconnect the supply line. He tried to forcefully enter inside and i had to push the door back upon his face. I shouted at him. He was muttering something and making retorts.
Such behavior is intolerable and he will have to be punished severely.
This same person had similar issues with a few of our other neighbors as well.
Our neighbours have related experiencing similar troubles with the same man.
By sending such foul and uncouth people to customers' premises, indraprastha gas ltd has proved that it stands at a very low level in the e-commerce marketplace in comparison to its competitors, and in all totality, is no match for the rest.
This clearly reflects the fact that concern for respect and professional code of conduct with customers is sadly, distinctly and noticeably lacking on the part of indraprastha gas ltd.
This lays a serious question mark on the credibility of human resource management of igl - where there is no respect for customers, you would eventually lose on all fronts.
You people should know the value of word of mouth put up by customers. Our neighbours reported that the same man went around harassing them knocking loudly on their doors. Everybody believes that indraprastha gas ltd does not have respect for customers.
You people should do something about training your contractors and doorstep visitors well, so that whenever they go to customers' houses, they talk well in a decent way, since they carry igl's image in the market, which can get tarnished in an instant by indecent behavior.
We demand astringent admonitory action against the bad person who caused us so much harassment. We demand he should be fired and sacked from his job. Only then shall the outstanding payment be made.
Please note if an expeditious and satisfactory resolution is not provided as solicited, it will conclude in the decline of payment of arrears and a civil lawsuit against igl for harassment and threats to the customer at their premises in consumer court.
