Indraprastha Gas Limited [IGL] — harassment of consumer by unauthorised closure of complaint with resolution | |||||
Hello, 1. I have recently got a new png connection for my flat after more than 5 months of applying at my flat at address tower 18, flat 1403, lotus boulevard, sector 100, noida, up. On 10 mar 17 the bp no was generated. However the installation happened only on 21 jul 17. 2. Notwithstanding the above, i have made 2 requests/complaints for "new stove conversion" on successive days. Screenshots of the email acknowlegement are attached herewith. 3. I am escalating the matter as on both occasions the complaint has been unilaterally closed by the person manning the local maint centre at the telephone no [protected].in fact after the first complaint/request was made on 24 jul 17, a person called up at my mobile no [protected] and gave me another no asking me to speak to the person whose no was given. After this conversation ended, i received a call from the number whose mobile no was given to me by the igl maint team representative. The complaint was unilaterally closed by igl immediately after the conversation and email of the same is att herewith. 4. The complaint was made again and customer care informed of the unilateral closure of the complaint. A fresh complaint was logged which is also att. This complaint has again been unilaterally closed just now. Mr rohit, at igl customer care has been spoken to and he has said that he will be escalating the matter. 5. I wish to draw your attention to the following grievance: A. The igl maintainance team incharge of my connection is harassing me and my family by repeatedly ignoring our complaints and unilaterally closing them without attending to the complaint nor taking a completion memo from me as a consumer. B. There appears to be a contractor - igl staff nexus which is trying to coerce consumers to pay pvt technicians to carry out complaint and repairs on gratification. The same needs to be investigated by your office. 6.in case i do not get a suitable reply i shall be escalating the matter to the appropriate forum as well as the cms secretariat as well as pmo so as to help poor indians not get harassed by greedy hawks not wanting to do their job.
