Indraprastha Gas Limited [IGL] — Unreasonable bill

We moved to a new house and got a new IGL connection. Previously we used to pay 500-550 for 2 months. This time the bill was for 2000 rupees that is only for 1 month and 23 days. Even if the price has increased, it doesn't make any sense that we have to pay 4 times of what we used to pay before. This is ridiculous. The customer care executive didn't even address my concern he just told me that I've been charged for what I consumed and how I can suddenly start consuming 4 times of what I used and that too with the same number of people in the house. I'm really concerned about this and I have no idea what to do.
