I made an online inquiry on igl site about my bill and surprised to note that a bill of rs.4144.38 is raised on me (Bp no.[protected]). On further inquiry from company's customer care official i came to know that this comprises of rs. 3250.00 towards cost of 10 mtrs of gi pipe, rs. 312.09 towards old outstanding, rs. 6.24 towards late payment charges besides other charges like inspection, consumption etc.
Sir, on my request, said connection was temporarily disconnected on 07.09.2016 and again restored on 07.03.2018. At the time of disconnection 20.00 mtrs of gi pipe was dismantled and was deposited with igl (Ticket no. [protected] - td (R) with device removal dated 07.09.2016, copy attached). Mtr reading at that time was 773.328.
Now as per igl re connection note 10 mtrs of pipe was installed on 07.03, 2018. (Copy attached)
I failed to understand, how can igl charge rs 3250.00 for 10 mtrs of pipe when 20 mtrs of my pipe is already deposited with igl.? Actually igl should pay me the cost of balance 10 mtrs of pipe.
Besides this, i failed to understand the reasons of raising a bill of rs. 312.09 vide invoice number.[protected] dated 01.03.2018 wherein billing period is shown as 22.10.2017 to 20.12.2017. When my connection is restored on 07.03.2018? A detailed mail was sent to igl by me on 13.03.2018, reply of which is still awaited.
It is a matter of concern that instead of resolving the issues igl is raising wrong bills which cause me lot of mantle agony. This is total harassment, nothing else.
I once again request igl to please withdraw/cancel/ reverse the wrong charges immediately. And resend me the revised bill.
