Subject: Complaint regarding delayed movie start & request for compensation
I booked tickets for a 9:00 PM show at INOX Metro Mall Junction, Kalyan East through BookMyShow.
However, the movie did not start at the scheduled time and only began around 9:30 PM. This 30-minute delay caused inconvenience and is not acceptable, especially after paying full ticket price for a specific showtime.
As per consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, such delays without valid reason or prior information amount to deficiency in service.
I request appropriate compensation for this inconvenience, such as:
- Partial refund of ticket amount, or
- Voucher / complimentary tickets
