[Resolved] Andhra Bank — TPA's not contactable and rerouting of consumers from one department to another | |||
I have purchased this Arogyadaan Medical Insurance from United India Insurance Co. via Andhra Bank. This company seems like a total fraudulent company. Firstly the Insurance cards or the co do not get accepted at the mentioned hospitals according to their booklet. So Cashless hospitalization is out of question. Secondly upon renewal of the Insurance policy, the consumer never receives the cards on time. In fact I never received my Arogyadaan cards last year at all. To top it all, this time while I have been hospitalized for the first time after having purchased the Insurance policy about 4 years back and having not claimed a single penny until now, despite having forwarded the claim papers on time and having received the acknowledgement about receipt of the papers yet when I call the helpline number they say they haven't received the papers as yet. More importantly the specific numbers of the TPA is not listed on the booklets, and the purpose of listing two different addresses where the papers need to be couriered are mentioned thus creating a confusion. I think One must totally avoid buying the Arogyadaan Medical Insurance Policy as this is no way to treat the customer. Was this information helpful? | |||
