Irctc — Failed transaction amount not refunded by IRCTC | |||
Hi, I was trying to book tickets on IRCTC (on Date - 20/11/2014) for my parents journey from Mumbai CST to Nagpur for Journey date[protected]. In first attempt my transaction failed and ticket was not booked but amount Rs.657.49/- was debited from my debit card. In the second attempt my ticket was successfully booked and again same amount was debited from my debit card (SBI Debit card in the name o[censored]lhas Sule). I took up this matter with IRCTC and mailed them providing all the relevant transaction details and in reply they asked to provide bank statement. Then I took up the same matter with bank and verified on their end whether the amount is paid twice to IRCTC and they confirmed that same amount is paid to IRCTC twice one for successful and one for failed transaction. I then provided IRCTC the bank statement which has two entries of same amount, but they haven't responded me on this matter and i am still awaiting their response on this issue. I kindly request you to take up this matter with IRCTC and help me resolve the same and get me back my money.
