Jiomart — No Refund for the product returned 35 days ago

Dear Sir/Madam,

I ordered some clothes from Jiomart on 22rd August 2021 (order #[protected]W) which was delivered on 25th August (shipment #[protected]W-01). I had to return following products because improper fittings:
1. Panelled Zip-Front Jacket (Size: S, Colour: Black, Amount: 563.04)
2. Zip-Front Slim Fit Bomber Jacket with Baseball Collar (Size: S, Colour: Grey, Amount: 1035.28)

Jiomart has a 30 days return policy on clothes. I returned them on 28th August and these products were picked-up on 29th August. I waited for 4 days to get the refund and then I sent an email to [protected]@jiomart.com on 2nd September to raise the complaint about no refund. Ticket #[protected] was raised for the same. Later (on 4th September), I also sent the snapshot of pickup person phone for both the items. Then several email exchange were done and I was getting almost the same reply from Jiomart customer care representative that “Give us some more time and we are relentlessly working on this”. They also mentioned that the product is in transit to WH. I again sent an email on 12th September and figured out that this ticket was closed without refund.

A new ticket was opened (#[protected]) for the same issue. We had several email exchanges on a daily basis and many times I asked them to escalate this issue. However, I used to get almost the same reply every time. Sometime Jiomart customer care representative called on my mobile and told the same thing which they were writing in email. Over the telephone conversation, I told them to escalate and also asked to connect to senior person. But all in vein. I have started getting frustrated and have a lot of mental tension. A lot of time was getting wasted in mails and on telephone conversation without any progress. Sometimes telephone calls used to come during meetings. I had to bear a lot of other losses apart from the returned products.

One fine day (on 23rd September), Jiomart agreed to raise a request for a refund and asked me to wait for 7 days to get the amount in the source account. To which, I asked them to provide a transaction reference number, but they again said to wait for 7 days. I still continued to send mail asking for a transaction reference number because I had fear that they would again close the ticket without refund. And my fear came true, they closed the ticket on 27th September without refund.

Couple of new tickets were opened (#[protected], #[protected]) where they again asked me to wait for 7 days. I asked them if you have released the refund then there must be a transaction reference number and I am just asking for that. I had no choice but to wait till 30th September. All these tickets were also closed by then without refund.

On 1st October again there was no refund and I sent the mail again. To which a new ticket was opened (#[protected]) and they asked that they will go over the issue again and come back with a resolution. Till date there is no resolution yet. I have all the email exchanges.

I had to go through a lot of frustration and mental pain but still no result. Now, I am raising this consumer complaint with a loss of Rs 5000/-. Please help me.
