Wipro to me was: Wipro was one of my dreams Company, an ocean of opportunities for learning, An Organization that offers great career, diversify learning and growth and I trusted Wipro Supervisors and Managers
Before Wipro: I was working in an organization “Webstar Logic System” as System Admin and I was getting salary 12k per month and I was having certification in CCNA and MCP
I joined Wipro Infotech from a partner Techwave Infosolution Pvt. Ltd on 7th July 2007 appointed as L2 Desktop Engineer with salary package same 12k per month, As Wipro was one of my dream company so I joined.
After I Joined Wipro Infotech and I got assurances time to time that I will get growth and permanent employee as a core engineer after finishing my retainer ship, and some people told that once you are in Wipro your life is settle. I upgraded my skill set, did my MCP, MCSE, CCNA and VMware ESXi5.0 server to make myself fit in this industry. But now I lost my primary technical skills, knowledge, my certifications also expired due to no use in the project given and now I am on same position where I was 5 years back. Several time told them to change project where I can utilize my technical skill. Now I am no more employee of Wipro Infotech Bangalore.

1st YEAR
After joining Wipro Infotech work given as backup support engineer for 2 months and then placed me in Blackberry Domain at client site Reliance Communication. In 1st year itself I upgraded my certification from MCP to MCSA. I work sincerely, honestly and very positive about my job. Later my supervisor informed me that the process of my appraisal is going and salary will increase.
2nd YEAR
Nothing happen in appraisal only my FMS ID got changed. I ask about appraisal, updated to me after 2 years completing you will convert to retainer and salary will increase. I work sincerely, honestly. I got many appreciations from customer and I came in weekly highlights in Wipro.
3rd YEAR
Nothing happen for my appraisal and no process of retainer conversion, I requested for site change and conversion as I was losing my primary technical skill, knowledge, experience due to no use of it in client site. Having certification in CCNA and MCSA, My CCNA Certificate also got expired.
My supervisor updated to me due to age limit policy of Wipro unable to process for retainer conversion and informed after 3 years completing will directly convert to core role. I was happy that I will be in core role, I work sincerely, honestly and politely supported to client.

4th YEAR
After 3 years my franchisee partner of Wipro “Techwave Infosolution Pvt. Ltd” got closed.
Then my conversion started and converted to retainer on 7th Oct 2010 not on core role, I ask why retainer role, Informed me work one year in retainer role then you will be converted to core. Here I didn’t understand where Wipro age limit policy is gone.
After converted to retainer with salary 17K placed me at client “Sistema Shyam Teleservice Pvt. Ltd.”, Brand name MTS as same Blackberry Support Engineer. I found there were no work in Blackberry and work given of call center and data card support. Find the trail mail work given for your reference.
Later I found in mywipro profile my designation was Desktop L2 Engineer & changed to Desktop L1 Engineer. I sent mail regarding clarification but no response.
5th YEAR
I requested for project change and core conversion as I was losing my primary technical skills due no use of it and not interested to do call center job. Again updated to me that you should complete 2 years in retainer role then core conversion will start.
Later in the month of March 2012 I move out from MTS project and kept on bench and later on 15 May 2012 “Sistema Shyam Teleservice Pvt. Ltd.” MTS Blackberry project contract also got closed from Wipro Infotech.
6th YEAR RUNNING
From March 2012 to 6th Oct 2012 I am on bench and supporting as backup engineer roaming in different client sites
Finally I shocked to hear, My supervisor said that they unable to process for core conversion due to policy of Wipro as I have education gap and informed me you have 2 months remaining for retainer agreement expire, So better you start looking new job.
As discuss with HR people they said retainer conversion will happen after completing 24 months in franchisee and core conversion after 2 year in retainer. I know if managers take special approval than conversion from franchisee to retainer can done after one year and from retainer to core can be done in one. I know some engineers who are converted in one year itself. If required those details I can provide that also

 I upgraded my MCP certification to MCSA in 1 year itself
 After 1 year completing and in appraisal my FMS id changed from Tec2-s2-0366 to Tec2-s2-0617. Don’t know why they changed.
 Work 3 years with same salary 12k, No growth and no increments
 Retainer conversion done after 3 years when partner of Wipro “Techwave Infosolution Pvt. Ltd” got closed, instead of 24months as per policy of Wipro.
 Work given of call center for 2 years in MTS protect
 Downgraded my designation from Desktop L2 Engineer to Desktop L1 Retainer
 I loses my primary technical skills due to no use in client site and also expires my certification
 5 Years work of L1 Engineer job and call center job
 Every year they made me fool by telling we will do that, this etc. Find attached mail for your reference
 During this my work period in Wipro, with this small salary and day by day increasing the living cost I faced and facing many difficulties to maintain my families cost
 No reimbursement claim for giving backup support roaming with different client site
 Now I Lost trust from Wipro Infotech, Supervisors and managers

I had escalated this issue with supervisors, Managers, HR’s and Ombuds teams how handle escalation and investigation confidentially

After this all only one reason I got reply from all of them
Based on the data available, we find that the conversion cannot be done as the criteria for the same is not met.
My questions are
Why this long time taken to telling policy?
Why work given of L1 Engineer in different domain after appointing L2 Engineer?
Why after 1 year completing they changed my FMS id from Tec2-s2-0366 to Tec2-s2-0617 and said my appraisal process is going?
Why 3 years taken to convert into retainer instead of 24 months?
After losing all my technical skill where should I go?
