We contacted the Kaff call center around May 25th or 26th, 2024, to report an issue with our inoperative microwave. A representative, whose phone number is [protected], called us on May 26th to address our concern. He mentioned that he would visit our place on May 27th, as he lives in Dwarka, which is far from our residence.
On May 27th, he arrived and informed us that a part needed repair and that he would take the microwave for servicing. The same day, he suggested that we take an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) from Kaff, which would cover all four of our appliances. The cost for this 3-year AMC was ₹15, 999, including six services and an 80% discount on parts and repairs. He mentioned that for the part repair, we would only need to pay ₹1, 740 if we took the AMC. Considering the benefits, we agreed to purchase the AMC.
On May 28th, he returned with the microwave, collected the cash payment, and provided us with an invoice bearing the Kaff logo and all relevant details.
However, on June 8th, our microwave started malfunctioning again. We contacted the same representative, who stated that he was off duty that day and on Sunday, but he would visit us on Monday. Wanting a quicker resolution, we called the Kaff call center. To our surprise, we were informed that Kaff does not offer an AMC system. We called the center again and received the same information.
We then contacted the representative, who insisted that Kaff does issue AMCs and that he would address the issue on Monday. Since then, his phone has been unreachable.
This situation is entirely unacceptable. We were deceived by a person claiming to be a representative of your company. Therefore, we request a full refund and urge you to thoroughly vet the individuals you employ. We believe that many other families might be experiencing similar issues.
