Kotak Mahindra Bank — cheque returned | |||||
Reference: My account No: [protected]; Cheque No. 000115 I had deposited my Kotak Mahindra bank account cheque to my SBI account (A/c No. [protected]) on 03/11/2018. On 06/11/2018 at 3.40 PM I had received SMS from your bank that cheque has returned due to difference in the signature. a).Is it a right procedure to return the cheque directly without informing me ? Please explain me what is your procedure in this regard. b) I have collected returned cheque from SBI & found no error in it. Also I have gone to my home branch & shown the sign to Ms. Sneha & other staff members; they had also found it Ok. c) They had told that your procedure of returning the cheque. According to them your bank inform to customer before returning the cheque. But in my case why this is not followed not known to them. d) Who will bear the cost if SBI & your bank put the service charges for that?
