Kotak Mahindra Bank — Credit card issue - harassment by recovery agents
This complaint is regarding the harassments continuously made by the recovery agents of kotak mahindra bank.
Scenario: i have opened the saving account of kotak mahindra bank and didn't maintained minimum balance. After the passing of 2 months bank issued me the CREDit card of 180000 (Approx).
In 2018, i decided to return card to bank and apply for reversal. Bank gave me the reversal letter of 30000 per month. I made some of emis to bank and 2 emis remain left.
Further, bank issued me new settlement letter of 60, 000. For 6 months. I successfully gave them 5 emis and because of covid 19 i was unable to pay last installment of 15000.
Now they are calling me again and saying that you have to settle the card for 80, 000
What is this ###. Inspite of making 90% payment they are not valuing our honesty and morality to pay.
It is my appeal to the consumer FORUM to take strict actions against the bank and i want the FORUM to warn such kind of bad people who always use abusing words to me, family and friends to harm my respect.
Kotak bank is one the most wealthiest and successful bank and i have experienced such kind of bad treatment from their recovery official. I appeal to bank plz not give your recovery to third party because they cannot recover not even single penny by using such kind of abusive and malicious techniques.
I am sharing photo of last settlement letter issued by bank for the proof and also sharing number of recovery agents.

Lastly i wanna appeal to the law, jurisdiction and FORUM to take stringent actions against these people
