      On 17th December 2021, I had contacted customer care for the cancellation of my credit card and subsequent release of my FD associated with it. Had made all the credit card payments before requesting for cancellation. The customer care representative assured us that the request will be submitted the same day and that the FD will be released within 4 working days. However, on 20th December, the statement shows INR 334 outstanding to be paid. On 24th, when contacted the customer care representative, he said that the request for cancellation of the card wasn't submitted and that I have to pay the outstanding amount to cancel the same. It was clearly mentioned on the 17th to cancel the card and logically if any payment outstanding after that is not liable to be paid by me. KINDLY RELEASE THE FD AT THE EARLIEST. We do have the phone call record of both the conversations made.

      This is precisely what is happening to me - see my latest thread on this. Kotak is nothing if not a "scam" bank. https://www.consumercomplaints.in/kotak-mahindra-bank-kotak-cancels-credit-cards... - in all my years of banking with so many banks, I've never encountered such callous, rude, uncaring - and downright pathetic service. They just ignore everything you send them until you open these long complaints with the authorities. Just a horrible bank in general, please avoid.

        Kotak personal loan Team is not giving me my Demand draft as I have applied for loan from them. I have been waiting for last 4 Business days and every day team tell me sir for 1 more day and Its been 20 days I am waiting for loan process to get cleared. I have been calling them but getting no response from them and they have been very rude unprofessional which is not acceptable.

            From past six month I am harrased by the recovery agent of Kotak cards.
            If my relative who lives in mumbai is unable to pay the dues and not answer her call what can i do for that, why she starts calling me and talks in very abusive language.
            When I politely told him that im not in contact with them and do not harass me for his dues, then she went ahead and called up my family members and further calling up daily..i dont even know who gave me d phone no. to her.
            The recovery agents are ill mannered and uneducated that they do not know how to talk to a lady.

            Kotak cards is actually loosing its name due to such holligans.

            This is a serious concern and need to take legal action against kotak bank now.

                As per the letter given by the kotak bank I had paid the settelment amount but due to some reasons i had paid lately and while paying the collection agent told that it is fine and will not give a cal but after two months a person is calling and tell me to pay 1500 as ratification amount to close the account.

                I had told him that keep the letter ready I will pay the amount and collect the letter.

                he denied of giving the first, I told him that i am going to come to the branch and pay it.

                but he started talking rubbish

                His name in truecaller shows as Ramesh Sahay, He tell that his name is Shivkumar, He told that he sent a mail but the mail came in the name of Vasanth Naik. after I gave the email ID, as he told a wrong email ID of Mine he told that it is in the name of puneeth . If he is from the bank, and also told that him show me the Bank ID card I will pay it, He denied to show me the ID card, and has messaged and told me all harsh thing on the phone which he deleted himselves.

                  My father had transfer of Rs 20000.00 from his HSBC UAE account to my Kotak Mahindra bank account no.[protected] on dated[protected], but amount not yet credited to my account. for this i have given the SWIFT copy to my branch manager as a international fund transfer proof. but even though payment not credited. Kindly look into this and do the needful to release my funds urgently.

                    The bank person is fooling every time since last 6 months but haven't processed my subsidy yet.
                    The house registration date is 03-Feb-2021 but there is no update on subsidy till now even after following up with the team since last 8 months.

                      This complaint is regarding the harassments continuously made by the recovery agents of kotak mahindra bank.

                          I had taken a loan of 3000 from a financial company other than my bank in 6/2/2021 and until september 2021 the ecs has been returned 19 times for emi's of 73 and one emi of 3200. the bank just deducted 11385 from my account for the cancellation of ecs charges. thi smoney was for my college tuition fee i would like a refund for now. even if the bank doesnt want to waiver my charges fully or partially i could sign a bond declaring i owe them the money and pay them within a period of time.                             Recently, i got a call from a lawyer who threatened my father that he is from Civil court. He said that we have to submit 9000 rupees/ in consideration of the ABN AMRO CARD my father had in 2007.
                            However, my father had paid all the dues at that time only and no dues were overdue.
                            Now, they are coming after 14 years suddenly and threatening us in name of kotak mahindra bank (Phoenix Arc owned by Kotak)
                            I request you to please handle my case and get the case closed immediately. The due was not even reflected on my credit score earlier this month.
                            Kindly settle the case. If it goes on to my cibil score, i would have no other option but to file a complaint against upper authorities.

                                I’m was account holder last year they provided me a consumer durable loan
                                After receiving the loan my account was auto closed when I check it shows my acc does not exist with this bank
                                And at last I get sms every month pls maintain sufficient balance for upcoming consumer durable loan emi
                                If my acc does not exist which account shall I deposit the money or transfer
                                And after that they return the Ecs and charge late payment fees gst and other fines etc when contacted branch they tel we r working on this issue from pass 6 months facing the issue and they have added rs 11000 as penalty though it’s not my fault
