About two months ago, kotak mahindra bank called me to tell me offer me a credit card with zero maintenance charges. I accepted, but after all the verifications, they decided to cancel my application without telling me anything about it. After about a month, they called again with the same offer. I declined, but after repeated such calls i agreed to give it another try. This time, i got sent two credit cards, both with an annual maintenance charge of rs 499 plus service tax plus education cess. I've been trying to contact customer care since to cancel the card, but only i get only recorded messages in response. Believe it or not, i got the same offer call for the third time, after both cards had come to me. I told them i wanted to cancel my existing two cards, but they said they didn't have the authority to do anything about it. Now, i'm not able to get through to the customer service centre or submit a form online. This has frayed my patience to breaking point. Completely unprofessional.
