I opened kotak 811 account in jan 2018 and about to close today (Jan 2019) because they give fraud promises in advertisements on kotak 811 accounts.
Kotak 811 account is not online and zero balance account at all, they will ask some documents proofs after online account created and its automatically convert into general account with a minimum of more than 5000 in urban areas.
Moreover, initially, they give kotak 811 debit card by charging around 300 and after documents submitted they will give another debit card by charging again. Which means the kotak 811 accounts changed to general account and need to maintain a minimum balance.
I have proofs that my kotak 811 (I opened online and i feel its kotak 811 account) debited 117 towards not maintaining amb (Average minimum balance) per month and 354 in another month (Nov 2018), total 870 for 4 months (Sep, oct, nov and dec 2018) Was this information helpful? |
