[Resolved]  Kotak Mahindra Bank — harassment by your agents against personal loan account no. spln - 59542

Hi,

I have been receiving calls feom kotak recovery agents for clearing some outstanding penalty levied against my account no. Spln[protected] for non-clearance of one or two ecs. I have explained my position to all your agents.in this connection, i am to state that the reason for ecs not getting cleared as stated in the statement sent by your agents is that there was no ecs mandate. I had never got the ecs mandate revoked and there was always sufficient balance in my sbi account to ensure clearance of the ecs installment. The problem had arisen due to some technical problem at bank's end and there was no fault of mine in the non-clearance of ecs. Therefore, levy of penalty by bank is wrong. Hence, i request bank for waiver of penalty and settlement of this issue.

I am to further state that the guy who called me today was being abusive and harassing me. He has threatened that non-clearance of dues will lead to dire consequences for me and my family. We are under great stress and feeling for safety of our well being. I want assurance from bank that such instances won't be repeated else i will take legal action against the bank. I also need an apology from bank for unnecessarily harassing me.
