This is regarding abn amro credit card number [protected] taken by my father vijay bhatia. The credit card payment was fully settled on 21/03/2007. De number as given on receipt is 14439.
I got call from my office yesterday that somebody from kotak mahindra asked for my contact number as i have a financial matter against them. As law abiding citizens, they gave my contact number to the agent who called them. I got a call from them and they asked me to share my father's contact details as my father has a financial matter to settle with them. They said that they called from a firm called pheonix.
Even after giving the contact number to them, they kept on calling my office. They even called my friends and asked them to ask me to contact a particular number. When i called the number, they said that they'll call me from landline number. A woman named anita called from a land line number and said that my father owes them rs. 40, 000 and my father should call her. When my father called them, they asked them to come to noida. My father told them there is nothing which he owes as he verified from receipt abn amro had given him at the time of full settlement in 2007.
Phoenix has been web tracking me and has been calling me friends to pay the money. I called them again and asked them to stop harassing my family and friends, so started shouting at me and abused me. She asked me to come to plot no. 7, sector 125, noida with rs. 50, 000.
My father and i are under severe distress because of these phone calls. We have also lodged a police complaint against the recovery agency. We tried calling kotak customer number but it was busy. We request you to verify the details, and ask the loan recovery agency to stop calling me and near and dear ones. Its impacting my personal and professional life.
