Dear Sir,
I am a customer of ank Kotak Mahindra, Guindy Branch, Chennai, Tamil Nadu | SB Account No : [protected]. I was using the Kotak Credit Card of the same Account with the Card No.[protected].
Since there was an overdue and I wanted to close my credit card the Kotak Credit Card Collection Executive - Mr.Krishna ([protected]) & Kotak Credit Card Collection Executive - Mr. Anbu ([protected]) has offered me a reversal of the due amount and closure offer and asked me to pay only 19000 INR. Have pinned the letter of the same with this mail.
I went to the Kotak Mahindra BankEgmore, Chennai Head Office and reconfirmed the same offer with the Manager of Collection who also confirmed that I need to pay only 19, 000 INR and my Credit Card Statement Due will become zero in the consecutive month. He also said that as per RBI procedure I will not be given the NOC when I asked for it.
I have paid the same (18, 500 INR on 31 March 2019 & 500 INR on 24 March 2019) to Mr.Krishna at his residence and immediately got the confirmation by SMS. Have pinned the same with this mail.
I was shocked to receive the Credit Card Statement showing 6990 INR due on April 2019 and the same in the month of May 2019. When inquired to Mr. Krishna he said that the reversal is not updated in thedatabase and will be resolved soon. Now he is assuring the same by end of May 2019.
Last week I had got a call from Mr.Santhosh, Kotak Credit Card, Collection Superviser saying that not of the above is not recorded in the database and I am entitled to get an NOC after Credit Card Closure immediately. He also assured and investigation on this regard.
But in the past 5 days Myself and My father have been harassed continuously by the bank call center every half an hour even after 9 PM. In spite of repeating the same context to them I have been getting the same calls. Mr. Krishna has assured that I will not be getting any further calls but unfortunately I am continuing to go through the Trauma.
Since it has been officially confirmed that I do not have to pay anything more by your Credit Card Department in Egmore, Collection Manager - Mr.Anbu, Collection Executive Mr. Krishna, I hereby make it clear that I am not ready to pay any more money as I have been manipulated, cheated and harassed with the fake promises by your employees responsible for Credit Card Collection.
As your humble customer I request you to consider my issue and resolve it as soon as possible.
My humble prayers to you to help me out of this traumatic situation.
In case I do not get your help then I have no other option left other than seeking consumer court & RBI help.
