[Resolved] Kotak Mahindra Bank — Removal of lien from beneficiary | |
I made a wrong payment to beneficiary account in kotak .I contacted the beneficiary directly to refund the amount which they did .I placed a request with ICICI to send a mail to kotak to remove lein .They say they informed kotak but kotak Mahindra says they have not recieved any confirmation .None of the banks are fully co operating and both banks are playing passing the parcel.Its been 2 months Was this information helpful? | |
Sep 20, 2021 Complaint marked as Resolved Got a confirmation from bank today that lein has been removed from beneficiary account.Hence closing for now.In case not resolved will raise Kotak Mahindra Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |

I visited the HSR branch and was told by one of the officers to ask ICICI to send an email to them to confirm removal of lein. Which ICICI claims have done it already on sept 4 at 2 PM. Now kotak is saying that email should be sent to main branch .I called ICICI they said they sent reminder mail to kotak but kotak has still not removed the lein from beneficiary account . I request kotak Mahindra to act swiftly jn this regard .If you need to coordinate with ICICI and get it resolved kindly do so .ICICI says they have done everything form their end kotak says they haven't received mail.

I got a confirmation from bank today that it has been removed .Will mark as completed for now in case it's not done will raise again.Thanks
