I placed an order (Order ID: 1068474) on Kwabey on 5 April 2026 and made a payment of ?999 via UPI (Transaction ID:[protected].
I later cancelled the order, but instead of refunding the amount to my original payment method, the company credited the refund to their internal wallet without my consent.
I do not accept wallet refunds and requested them multiple times to process the refund back to my original payment source. However, the company has not responded to any of my emails or support requests, and their customer support number is inactive.
This is an unfair trade practice and a violation of consumer rights, as refunds should be issued to the original payment method unless agreed otherwise by the customer.
I have also filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline and contacted my bank to initiate a chargeback.
Despite all this, the company has not taken any action.
